CHARLOTTE, N.C., July 21, 2026 — Atrium Health invested $2.38 billion in community benefit in 2025 — more than $6 million each day — reflecting its continued commitment to supporting patients and communities across North Carolina. One of the programs is school-based virtual care.
- Community-based programs, including school-based virtual care services that expanded to 240 schools in 2025 and provided care to more than 8,200 students. More than 60% of visits allowed students to remain in school rather than miss class.
