Group Fully Insured:
Beginning April 1, 2025, behavioral health counseling services within a school setting will now be covered under the MH/SU office visit benefits, as long as the provider is a licensed and credentialed behavioral health provider. All behavioral health counseling codes are covered.
ASO:
Beginning with group effective dates on or after July 1, 2025, behavioral health counseling services within a school setting will now be covered under the MH/SU office visit benefits, as long as the provider is a licensed and credentialed behavioral health provider.
